Plans and pricing
One plan covers your whole household, every child, for the applications to the 2027-28 school year. The guided journey, Compare and rank, and the public facts stay free for every family. Paid plans add the parts that are personal to your child: tailored comparison, likelihood bands, tour intelligence, and the simulators.
Plans
A Full Round is one payment that covers the whole application cycle, from the fall window through the summer waitlist rounds, ending August 31. Monthly is for families joining late or mid-cycle; a Full Round costs a little more than the few months most families on that plan need, so monthly suits a family that needs only a few months, and the Full Round is the better buy for everyone who stays longer.

Questions families ask
Who is covered by one plan?
Your whole household. Two children, one price. Co-parents and advisors on your team share it. Nothing about your family structure is ever behind a plan.
How do I pay: once, or monthly?
A Full Round is one payment for the whole application cycle. Monthly is a subscription for households joining late or mid-cycle; a Full Round costs a little more than the few months most families on that plan need, so monthly suits a family that needs only a few months, and the Full Round is the better buy for everyone who stays longer. Both buttons appear on a plan you can buy.
When does a Full Round end?
On August 31, after the summer waitlist rounds. Buying later in the cycle does not extend it, which is why monthly exists.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. Within 7 days of a purchase (a Full Round payment, the first payment of a monthly plan, or an add-on pack), email billing@schoolnav.app and we refund that purchase in full. You do not need to give a reason, and the paid tools of that plan switch off when the refund is made. At any time, moving down a tier refunds the unused share of the price difference, prorated to the day, back to your card. A monthly plan can be switched or canceled any time under Manage billing and stays active until the end of the paid month.
Is my card safe?
Payment happens on Stripe’s secure page. SchoolNav never sees or stores your card.
Does paying change my odds?
No. Nothing here changes what the lottery or the cutoffs do. Paid tools read the published rules and your own numbers; they never promise a seat.
Will any plan show odds for a lottery program?
No. Bands exist for points-based programs because CPS publishes their cutoff scores. A lottery has no cutoff score, and CPS publishes no lottery odds and no waitlist movement, so a band does not apply to a lottery program on any plan. What every plan shows for free is the demand context, applicants per seat from the CPS program directory, and from the October 2026 refresh, which way that demand has moved over three years.
